Based outside of New York City in northern New Jersey, percussionist and composer
Taylor Goodson performs with some of the best musicians in the region
and composes for a wide variety of ensembles.

He is currently principal tympanist of the Montclair Orchestra and the FEA Symphony and regularly performs with a plethora of freelance ensembles in both New York and New Jersey.

As a composer, his many works span a large variety of instruments and ensembles and have been described as cinematic and emotional. His music can be heard both online and on the concert stage from his theme music for the Voice of the Whills podcast to his
Symphony No. 1 “The War of the Worlds” for symphony orchestra.
